A Musical Play Script for Christmas
Get Up, Get Out
This musical play script for Christmas can be used as a classroom presentation or special seasonal event. Short and quite easy to present, it is a free play script for elementary students.
Story: Two children who sit glued to the T.V. are encouraged by their mother to go outside and enjoy the lovely winter evening with their friends. They refuse to leave the movie and Mother gives up. They are in for a surprise, however, when an elf from the movie leaps out of the T.V. and gets them to go outside for some fun. While out with the crowd, they run into Frosty, more elves and the lost Santa from the movie.
The end of the play has a selection of children presenting Christmas (or seasonal) traditions from around the world, ending with the manger scene.
Cast: There are four main characters but the rest of the cast can include as many people as you need.

- Away in a Manger
- Silent Night
Props / Scenery: - can be as elaborate or simple as desired
